An analysis of MuckRock's FOIA requests
Analysis of how perceived ethnicity affects FOIA response times, and produced content based on public documents.
While at MuckRock, I took on a project investigating if, and how, the perceived ethnicity of the requester impacts how a FOIA request is processed.
This project utilized MuckRock's API, a Python tool called ethnicolr for predicting race and ethnicity based on name, and a Python implementation of survival analysis called lifelines.
